Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one championships have been achieved on hard courts
A comeback Daniil Medvedev won his maiden trophy for 882 days with victory over Frenchman Moutet in the tournament championship match.
Medvedev, a former world number one, has endured a challenging season, achieving just one win at the major tournaments and experiencing a meltdown at the US Open.
His inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his serve in specific - resulted in him dropping out of the elite rankings and ultimately parting ways with former trainer Cervara.
Currently training with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually progressed in the last few weeks - culminating in a closely contested three-set triumph over challenger Moutet.
This represents his maiden title after the Italian tournament and maiden on a hardcourt after that period of 2023.
Success also signifies the Russian has secured twenty-one titles at twenty-one distinct events.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a tournament with my both daughters at once, so to win a championship is really nice," said tennis professional Medvedev.
"This championship is in dedication of my younger daughter her name, because the initial championship I won when my child Alisa was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his past six championship matches, including in Halle earlier this year.
Medvedev's counter-punching strategy and regular outbursts on court had led observers to wonder if his skill to play at the highest level was finished.
Yet the player has altered his approach in the last few weeks, attempting to advance forward and perform aggressively, reinforced by an improved serving game.
He fought back from a disadvantage in the initial set against the tricky Frenchman, securing 4 of the concluding five games to take the lead.
The competitors traded service breaks in the second set before the challenger, striving for his first ATP Tour victory, took control to create a final set.
He saved 4 early-game chances in a competitive third set before Medvedev broke to fifteen to serve for the match.
Appropriately, he secured the title with a rally at the net, with the Frenchman incapable to manage a shot after a lengthy match.
